• Rental requests: name, email address, phone number, requested vehicle, rental period and any voluntary remarks.
• Phone or in-person enquiries: the same details, recorded by our staff.
• Technical data: when the site is accessed, server-side connection data (IP address, time, page accessed) is generated. This is used to operate the site and prevent misuse, and is deleted after a short period.

We process the data exclusively to review your enquiry, check availability, provide you with an offer, and prepare and process the rental agreement. The basis is the initiation of a contract or your consent when submitting the form. We do not use your data for advertising without your consent.

No payments are processed via this website. We collect credit card and ID details only on-site when signing the contract – never via the web form. Please do not send us such data via the form or email.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or social media plugins. Fonts are loaded from our own server, so no connection to third-party providers is created. We only use technically necessary cookies or local storage – for example, to keep you logged in to the internal back office. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

On the contact page we offer a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland). The map is not loaded automatically: only when you click "Load map from Google Maps" is a connection established to Google, transmitting your IP address, among other things. Without a click, no data is transmitted to Google. Alternatively, you can plan the route directly in a new window on Google Maps or call us for directions.

Your data is not sold. It is only shared with service providers who support our operations (hosting and database), and with authorities where we are legally obliged to do so. These service providers are contractually bound to confidentiality and process data only on our instructions. Processing may also take place in countries with an adequate level of data protection.

Enquiries that do not lead to a rental are generally deleted after 12 months. Data relating to completed rental agreements is retained for as long as required by statutory retention and limitation periods (generally 10 years).

Data is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS). Enquiries are stored in an access-protected database; only authorised AVB staff can view them in the internal back office. The form is protected against automated spam submissions.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and receive a copy of your data. You may withdraw any consent given at any time. To do so, please contact us at info@avb-reinach.ch. The competent supervisory authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
